**What the charity does:** The objects of the charity are to advance the Christian Religion by: o	encouraging unity between evangelical Christians and churches throughout the area through communication and co-operation as a pan-evangelical, membership body. o	co-ordinating evangelical Christian work in the area. o	being a ‘voice’ for the evangelical community to local government and media o	providing a link with the National Evangelical Alliance and be a local expression of Evangelical Alliance UK concerns The charity also seeks to relieve those in need by reason of age, ill health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage.
