To support the Council in the maintenance and development of the Barnhill Rock Garden. This involves weeding/planting/designing and looking after several beds in the Garden for which we have sole responsibility, the redevelopment of other existing beds as required in conjunction with the Council, assisting the Council financially with major projects. This year we have funded a new footbridge over a water feature. Currently we are in the process of gaining funding earmarked for the renewal of the pump system for the ponds.

Objectives: The objects of the Friends shall be to promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Broughty Ferry by advancing education and in the interest of social welfare providing or assisting in the provision of facilities for recreation and other leisure-time occupation so that the conditions of life of the aforementioned inhabitants may be improved.
