Football income declining - 2024 income £904 - 2025 income £302 Cost of coaching in 2025 = £1200
Loss of £898 over the year. As children will no longer be paying any Astro membership fees this year this loss is likely to increase in the short term and needs to be addressed by the committee.
Tennis income declining - 2024 = £2174 - 2025 =£1319 Tennis coaching fees for 2025 = £1680 Loss of £361 over the year.
Due to the decline in numbers of both children and adults taking tennis coaching it is no longer viable to continue regular coaching - a mutual decision. Therefore there will be no coaching income or fees for this current year

New gym on line booking system started in May 2025. This replaced a free on line service which was withdrawn by the developer. The new system costs £26.40 per month. It has proved successful with members, is easy to use and we can readily collected data as to when and how frequently members use the gym. Currently members can pre book up to 5 one hour sessions per week. Slots can be booked up to 3 weeks in advance. Out of 75 members on the current books 34 have not booked any sessions to date this year ( as of 1/3/2026 )
This current year we are planning a “one off” rejuvenation of the Astro court at a cost of £1680. If successful this will be repeated in the future as required. Hopefully there maybe some grants forthcoming to pay for this.
