The charity is a Citizens Advice Bureau and provides advice to residents of East Ayrshire from premises in Kilmarnock (main office) and Cumnock plus telephone/remote support. We also provide limited advice to residents of North and South Ayrshire. Advice includes benefits, debt, employment, housing, legal and relationship matters.

Objectives: 4.1 the advancement of education. 4.2 the prevention or relief of poverty. 4.3 the relief of those in need. 4.4 the advancement of health. 4.5 the advancement of citizenship or community development. 4.6 the promotion of equality and diversity. and 4.7 the advancement of human rights, conflict resolution or reconciliation, particularly through (but not limited to) the following activities 4.8 the provision of advice and assistance to individuals with a view to improve their understanding of their legal rights and responsibilities, facilitate access and use of the benefit system, and alleviate stress and other anxiety caused by unresolved issues. and 4.9 recruiting, training and developing local citizens who are engaged as volunteers in and for the Bureau, who in turn assist members of the public within the Area of Benefit, and in doing so contribute to the development of the Area of Benefit.
