We provide tuition in riding and equine related activities to children and people of all ages, with physical disabilities, medical conditions, learning difficulties and youngsters on the autistic spectrum. We use the horse as a training medium for learning. We offer a non-judgemental, inclusive environment where individuals with disabilities, learning difficulties and mental health conditions can flourish. Participating in both ridden and ground work sessions. We also invite residents from local care homes to come along to our ‘Tea with a Pony’ sessions. Our ridden sessions provide rehabilitation of both the mind and the body. They help improve balance, coordination, muscle control and posture. In addition, decision making, communication and social skills are all improved.

Beneficiaries: 'People with disabilities or health problems'

Objectives: The organisation's purpose is to promote the objects of the Riding for the Disabled Association incorporating Carriage Driving (Company No 5010395) a charity registered under Charity Number SC039473 ('the Company') by providing people with additional support needs the opportunity to ride and/or to carriage drive to benefit their health and wellbeing in the Fife and Clackmanannshire area.
