Financial review Brief statement of the charity's policy on resetves For unrestricted funds, any surplus will be used to build up reserves sueh that the balance al any one time is sufficient to cover one4)alf of the budgeted expenditure. For restricted funds our policy is to ensure that tax refunds from Gift-Aided contributions and interest eamed in the Deposit Fund follow the main donations to their intended destination.
