Charity has been set up to manage and operate the community hall for Glendaruel, Colintraive and wider Cowal with the following objects: To provide recreational facilities, and organise recreational activities. To provide Community with a meeting place. To manage and maintain the Hall for the benefit of all residents. To promote community spirit and To support local information sharing.

Objectives: (a) To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Glendaruel Village and its environs without distinction of sex or of political, religious or other opinions by associating the local statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities, in the interest of social welfare for recreation and other leisure time occupation so that the conditions of life of the inhabitants may be improved (b) To establish or secure the establishment of a Village Hall and to maintain and manage such a Hall for activities promoted by the association and its constituents bodies in furtherance of the above object
