**What the charity does:** We are a community-based charitable organisation situated in Thurso in the heart of the High Ormlie housing estate. We have been established and serving the community since 1997, whereby we have been at the heart of developing the local area and supporting its residents. We also offer support to the communities right across Caithness.  The support that we offer is available to the whole community and is based around our ethos of alleviating symptoms of poverty, loneliness and isolation. Our support is open and inclusive to all members of the community. At OCA we develop and deliver community-based projects to suit the needs of an ever-changing community.

**Objectives:** To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Ormlie and Caithness and its environs or North Highland (hereinafter called members of the Community) without distinction of sex or of political, religious, or other opinions by a) the advancement of education b) the provision or assisting in providing recreational facilities and /or organizing recreational activities , which will be available to members of the Community and the public at large with the object of improving the conditions of life of the members of the Community and the public at large c) managing Community assets for the benefit of the members of the Community and the public at large d) advancing community development, including urban or rural regeneration within the Community e) advancing environmental protection or improvement including preservation, sustainable development and conservation of the natural environment, the maintenance, improvement or provision of environmental amenities for the members of the Community, and the promotion of the use of renewable energy sources amongst members of the Community, and f) the relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage,
