MID-ATHOLL HALL MANAGEMENT AGM 24.11.25
This year 2025 has seen a big achievement taking place in the forward planning of the hall. We have received over £37000 pounds in grant funding from the Griffen wind farm fund with another £54000 due imminently. This will allow major works to be done to the maintenance of the building with hopefully another tranche of money to be got in the Spring to allow the car-parking area to be totally upgraded. Kate Howie came on to the committee ad hoc and was the driving force behind the project doing a tremendous amount of work from organising the preparatory works in the hall to presenting our case to the Griffen Committee. We as the hall committee and indeed the the residents of the village are very grateful for this effort, a huge thank-you Kate. The hall meantime has had the usual amount of bookings and our fundraising evening, namely the quiz night raised $453 which was excellent. Thanks go to Carol the chief quiz organiser and collector of raffle prizes. All in all | feel that at last we are getting somewhere with the hall and | see it a year from now to be an asset to the village for years to come with a completely new look. Thanks as usual must go to the committee for all their support during the past year.
Clive Bridges Chairman Mid-Atholl Hall Committee.
