This is done by the following means: 4.1 The provision of advice, information and training opportunities to carers 4.2 Support for carers on an individual basis and mutual support through carers groups 4.3 Provision of advocacy for carers 4.4 Provision of opportunities for volunteers to become involved in the work of the Borders Carers Centre 4.5 Ensuring carers have a voice in the planning and provision of health and social care services of the Scottish Borders.”
