North Edinburgh Arts (NEA) is the place for local residents to relax, explore, learn and get creative together. From art to dance, music to textiles, woodwork to yoga, we offer over 30 hours of workshops every week, with something for all ages and interests to enjoy. NEA houses a 96 seat theatre, 72 seat café, 6 artist studios, 5 multi-use studios, a music studio, 2 wood workshops, 4 offices, a hot desk mezzanine, third floor greenhouse, and half acre community garden. NEA makes up a third of the MacMillan Hub, and shares an entrance with the Muirhouse Library, the Skills Hub, and the Pennywell Early Years Centre, all run by the City of Edinburgh Council. NEA is a Charity registered in Scotland (SC027700) run by a dedicated team working with freelance artists, valued volunteers, and partner organisations. NEA is overseen and supported by our Board of Directors. North Edinburgh Arts condemns all forms of racism and discrimination.

Objectives: 4 The company has been formed to benefit principally the community of North Edinburgh which comprises the areas of Muirhouse, Pilton, Granton and Drylaw (the “Community”) with the following objects: 4.1 The advancement of education through promotion of the arts, particularly among the residents of the Community. and 4.2 The provision of recreational facilities within the Community, in particular with a view to improving the conditions of life for the residents of the Community. 5 The company’s objects are restricted to those set out in article 4 (but subject to article 6). 6 The company may (subject to article 57) add to, remove or alter the statement of the company’s objects in article 4. on any occasion when it does so, it must give notice to the registrar of companies and the amendment will not be effective until that notice is registered on the register of companies.
