To promote the benefit of special needs children and their parents and carers,without distinction of age,sex,race,political,religious or other opinions,by association with the statutory authorities,voluntary organisations in the interest of social welfare for health,recreation and leisure occupation,with the object of improving conditions of life for the children,parents or carers and to promote all,or any objects for the benefit of the community which now or hereafter may be deemed by law to bee charitable.
Objectives: The Association is established for charitable objects only and, in particular, to promote the care, welfare and relief of all children with special learning needs living within the area of beneJt by: i.) Promoting social integration, providing opportunities for members to participate in a range of social, recreational and educational activities, without distinction of sex, race, political, religious, cultural or other opinions ii.) Improving the conditions of life for children with special learning needs, their parents and carers iii.) Creating a mutual support network for parents and carers within the area of benefit iv.) Engaging with the voluntary and statutory agencies to promote opportunities for the provision of facilities for education, social welfare, health recreation and leisure time activities
