**What the charity does:** Amina empowers and supports Muslim and Minority Ethnic (ME) women to create an inclusive Scotland in which they can contribute fully. Amina&#x27;s mission is to promote social welfare of Muslim and ME women and enable them to participate in all aspects of society without having to compromise their basic beliefs and values. Amina operates on two levels – by working with policy makers and mainstream providers to help overcome barriers to civic participation and access to services. and by providing a range of services directly to Muslim and ME women delivered in a way that meets their specific needs.
