Activities Overview Although this has been another quiet year, the charity continues to receive enquiries from playgroups and private nurseries seeking support for children with Additional Support Needs IASN). During this reporting period, CSNIPS has provided direct support to three children and their families. The needs of the children supported this year have ranged from behavioural and neurodiverse to physical challenges. Support Activities Child Support Direct Support Provided: Three children and their families re￿IVed tailored assistance during the year. addressing their unique needs. Nursery Engagement: Two board members visited a nursery that had requested support for a child attending their Early Learning and Childcare (ELC) servi￿. The board members were highly impressed with the nursery's settings and the level of care provided. The charity was pleased to extend support for the child attending this ELC seNice. Grant Applications: Two funding applications were submrtted". one to the Robertson Trust and another to Children in Need Unfortunately, neither application was successful this year. The board remains dedicated to its mission and is actively seeking ways to enhance communication. maintain complian￿, and secure funding to support future initiatives. Acknowledgements The board wishes to extend its gratrtude to the local nurseries and playgroups for their collaboration and to the volunteers who contributed to the charity's activities. Thank you to the

community for ongoing support, which enables us to continue providing essential seniices to children with ASN. Financial Review This has unfortunately been another quiet year for CSNIPS. We have been able to support three children over the year, but with only a diminishing amount of bank interest as our funds deplete being our only source of income, we have ended the year with a deficit of almost £8,000. The Irustees continue to source possible funding opportunrties. with our administrator and Chairperson having applied, unsuccessfully for a couple of grants this year. The fact that we are an intermediary and pay settings to pay their playfriends appears to be a bit of a sticking point with some funders. Clearly, we cannot continue funding the children who benefit so much in an Early Years setting from a 1.1 support unless our Income increases substantially. and this is something that the trustees are giving much consideration lo going forward. Plans for Future Periods The trustees remain committed to trying to support children with additional support needs in pre- school who would not otherwise have access to this. We still hope to re-start our visits to playgroups and private settings to publicise our service and offer supportladvice if required. We will continue to give consideration as to how we can extend our service and support these children whether that need be long or short term. With ever greater restrictions on council spending, sadly often in this area. we feel that we can offer help to settings who fa￿ constant staffing and financial challenges, and we can really make a difference to these young people as they embark on their educational journey. Approved by the trustees on the date below and signed on Iheir behalf by"
