**What the charity does:** The organisation&#x27;s principal activity is a national umbrella organisation for those working in the field of supported employment, whether in the third, public or private sector. The company&#x27;s objectives are to promote the sustainable employment of disabled people and people with long-term health conditions, through the development of effective employability support services. The SUSE staff team and Board have worked to develop a new strategy for 2025-2028, that was launched at the 2025 AGM. The charity’s vision, mission and values have been updated and new goals have been identified under 4 headings: - Enhance Member Services - More and better Supported Employment - Organisational Development - Ensure people with lived experience play a central role in SUSE. The KPIs under these headings will outline how the charity will meet the needs of our members and disabled people in a changed landscape that now has Local Employability Partnerships.

**Objectives:** 5.1.1 the relief of poverty and distress by working to increase the availability, quality and impact of supported employment services in Scotland by ensuring individuals with disadvantages have access to supported employment to find and retain paid work.  In particular, the company aims to:  5.1.1.1 develop the supported employment workforce and the capabilities of the membership, keeping them informed, offering support and development opportunities and promote learning.  5.1.1.2 be the voice of the membership and establish the supported employment model as a fundamental element of employability in Scotland.  5.1.1.3 work with others and support the membership to work with each other, to research what works and bring people together who share the values and ambitions.  5.1.1.4 champion new initiatives and pilot new approaches and challenge the status quo.  5.1.1.5 work with the membership to improve supported employment services in Scotland, support the members to grow, promote excellence and influence policy developments.
