The vision of the company is to improve the quality of life in Newtonmore by supporting, in partnership with local landowners and crofters, the regeneration of native woodlands and maintenance of footpaths in and around the village. From its premises in Newtonmore the trust provides information for visitors about the Wildcat Trail and other walks in the area. The Trust also manages and promotes a popular tourist attraction, the Wildcat Experience, a series of 132 painted model wildcats to be found around the village. Each cat is adopted by a local family or business. The trust activities are managed by an active Board of Trustees who meet at least 4 times a year.

Beneficiaries: 'No specific group, or for the benefit of the community'

Objectives: The company has been formed for the benefit of its members and the general public with the following objects: i. To promote and support the regeneration and restoration of native woodlands in the geographical region of Newtonmore. ii. To maintain, improve and extend paths within and linking such woodlands in the same region. iii. To promote and enable exercise through walking in the same region. iv. To support charities and organisations operating in Newtonmore that promote and support the wellbeing of residents of Newtomore including the provision of community facilities. But such that the company shall do so following principles of sustainable development
