**What the charity does:** To provide opportunities for learning, friendship and sharing skills.  We promote education and connect women locally and nationally to improve their quality of life through friendship, education, sharing skills and experiences.  We celebrate our traditional Scottish heritage and crafting techniques and embrace new adventures.  In Shetland this year we have provided a residential craft weekend, social events and a very successful Summer Teas.

**Objectives:** The aims of the organisation shall be:  a)	To advance the education and skills of women and girls  •	To provide a platform for social activities and networking •	To promote the preservation and development of Scotland's heritage and culture •	To promote and work with like-minded organisations at home and abroad
