Charitable Purposes
The object of the charity 15 to hold the funds in Trust for the charitable purposes of the free income
of the Trust under Deduction of the expenses of administration. The said Trust Fund and whole
other expenses and outlays incU￿ed therein equally between WWF UK (Scotland) and the Royal
Society for the Protection of Birds who shall be entitled to use alld apply the free incorne for
such general purposes as they see fit.

Th¢ ChaTity made no donations to each to the beneficiaries during the year.
Trustee remuneration and expenses
Legal costs for administering the trnst were paid to Mactaggart & Co. solicitors with whicb the
Trustee has a business connection. Mr. F.A.S. Duncan is a director.
Reserves
At the end of the year Mactaggart & Co. held a balance in a designated clients, account of £1,206.17
and £2,005.18 in general client funds and Rathbones held a balall¢e of £1,031.90 over and above the
portfolio valuatioll.

Independent Examiner's Report to the Trustees of William Adam Stephenson's Chydritable Trust
I report on the accowits of the charity for the year ended 05 April 2026 which are set out on pages 2 to 3.
Respective responsibilities of trustees and examiner
The charity's trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the ternls of the
Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005 and the Charities Accounts (Scotland) Regulations 2006.
The charity trustees consider that the audit requirem¢nt of Regulation l O(l) (d) of the Accounts Regulations
does not apply. It is my responsibility to examine the account5 as r¢quired under sectTon 44(1) (c) of the Act
and to state whether particular matters have come to my attention.
Basis of independent examiner's statement
My examination is carried out in accordance with Regulation Il of the Chariti¢s Accounts (Scotland)
Regulations 2006. An examination includes a review of the accounting r¢cords kept by the charity and a
comparison of the accounts prescnted with those record5. It also includes considuation of ally unusual items or
disclosures in the accounts, and seeks explanations from the t￿￿te¢S concerning any suGh matters.

not express an audit opinion on the view given by the accounts.
