We aim to promote a greater understanding and co-operation between the Police and the community, alert the community to the types of crime prevalent and advising on preventative measures. We supply personal safety equipment to the police within the Levenmouth and Glenrothes areas for public front desk access and for use by Crime prevention Officers. We also support the Police Scotland Youth Volunteers in our area (based at Levenmouth Academy.

Objectives: The Panel shall operate with a view to actively seek ways of reducing crime within the community by: - (a) Generating crime prevention ideas and initiatives relating to identified problems. (b) Promoting a greater understanding and co-operation between the Police and the community. (c) Alerting the community to the types of crime prevalent and advising on preventative measures. (d) Stimulating public and professional interest in reducing crime.
