**Purposes:** 'the advancement of education','the advancement of citizenship or community development','the provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended','the promotion of equality and diversity'

**What the charity does:** We are a small group of local volunteers who manage the programme within the local community centre. This includes community events and weekly groups.

**Objectives:** The objects of The Association shall be: 3.1 To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Fintry and Mill 0' Mains and Environ without distinction of gender, political, religious or other opinions by associating the local and statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare, for recreation and other leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants within the area of primary benefit. 3.2 To establish or to secure the establishment of a Finmill Centre Association and to maintain and manage or to co-operate with any local statutory authority in the maintenance, lease and management of such a centre for activities promoted by the Management Group/Council in furtherance of the above objects.
