**What the charity does:** Provide the community of Douglas with opportunities to enhance their health and well being.  Also to improve their social and mental well being.  We prevent individuals from feeling isolated as we offer many group and activities throughout the year.  There are also one off events through the year, this allows the community to participate and become key members of the community and the centre we are based.  We also enable people to access the centre for advice and also hold a food provisions to tackle food poverty.

**Objectives:** To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Douglas, Craigie, Gotterstone and Craigiebank without distinction of gender, political, religious or other opinions by associating the local and statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare, for recreation and other leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants within the area of primary benefit
