IV5 been another busy and rewardin8 year at Aros Hall, and I want to stsrt by th￿kIn8
everyone who has rn￿le use of the space: from re8ular users arKI local groups to one
events and visiting workshops. The Aros Hall lies in the heart of the town and ho￿$ a ¥>eclal
place in the hearts of resldents. and ivs thanks to your Invofvement that it remains a nxKh-
loved space.
Whlle the past year hasn't been without its challen8es. there'5 also been a 8￿at deal to
celebrate. Most r￿tsb•y. we ended the year with a net surk4us of £11,01224 - a reassuring
Si8n that the hall is on a reasonable finandal footl
Thr￿ the year, the haN ￿Ved host to a wlde range of arKI actlvltSes. From ￿r
fantastic regular hall users. to the beautiful displays of the Tobermory Hortlcultural Soclety
Fk)wer Show and celebratln8 our culture and heritsge at the IcKal Mbj. The Aros Hall
continues to be a space to bring people together and celebrate community.

ToberrrKJry High Schcx)I chose Aros Hall as their norninated local d￿rity foi the Yi)uth and
Philanthropy Initiatlve CrfPI). Their creativ¢ award-wlnnlng pitch secured a farrtastic £3,1)J)
grant - a brilliant examFde of communlty splrft and youth leadership in artfion.

everyone dar•cin8. The 2024 pantomime. Ciiiderella, V¥as a hugc hit with the town and the
effort involved in Wtt1￿ on the show is testsment to the brflliant community that exlsts here.

new light dedicated to ￿ which is cited In The Gallery cowtyard Thanks to
generous support from MESS and Scottish Sea Fwms Heart of the CoThiunity fund. we
hosted free Chrlstmas lantern-makin8 W￿kshOps, culminatlng in A rnAoir31 parade dur6n8 the

The Tobennory Producer5 M¥ke( ¢J)e of key fvndraisin8 eff￿s, ralsed £3,287.76 in
2024. While this was a 14% drop from last year. mainly due to dreadfijl weather and the loss
of some regular stsllholdffs. we're grateful to have secured stspwt from The Waterfall Fund
to help boost pro￿￿tiOn axl grow the market in 2025. We're also thankful to Tobermory
Harbour Association for providing the market site at a fair rate, and to Tobernv)ry Distillery for
On￿ a8aln offerin8 their cajrtyard free of char8e durfng the Christmas Mark£ts, allowin8 US
to welcome twice as many trader&

The MESS Island Castsways charity shop returned to the hall foyer fr(Mn Apnl to Ortober.
offering voknnteerin8 OPPCfftunities and raisin8 funds for local cause& Meanwhile. the
community fridge. also mana8ed try MESS. continued its brilliant work divertin8 food from
landfill providin8 access to free food every day of the week.
