Charltable purposes
Th? principal objects of the Trust are to advance the education uf the public and p?rticulady the inhabitants of
Crieff and Stra-:heam, In Scottish and Highland culture, history and genealogv.
Activities and achlevwnÈnts
We are pleased tD repDrt th* the Trust made charitable donatiolls during the year of £3,65012023- £12,625).
Funds of £3,150 were made available to Qieff Highland Gathering for the followinE.'
Contribution to consuliancy fees relating to an ongoing project determining the governance and
funding of Crieff Hlghland Gatherlng
Crleff Country Dance Club wa5 awarded £5(￿ to a5515t ￿ry[h their rnnning costs.
The Trust supported the running of Crieff Highland GaLherinE by making free banknng facilities available on the
days around the Gathering. This s2vod the Gathering several hL'ndred po¥né5 in bank charges and as a result
donated to the Trust £30012023- £3¢XI.
Heartland Radla via Creative Crieff, Crieffs local radio station. donatèd £6,924 for music event co¥ts, these
funds have b@en retained tD be used In futbre years. The trustees are gratefL,I to Heartland Radio for thelr
support.

£15.02512023 - £6.1151. which includes the patrorts, income paid di￿tlY to the Trust.
The Trust continues to seek publicity In the local pre55 to ensure that the wblic of s*ra-he3rn are awa￿ of the
haritable work carried out and the grants avarlable.
Trustee remuneratlon and e¥per
The trust￿ did not receive any remuneration or expenses during the VEar.
Rlsk mana8eMent
The trust&es have considered the risks to whith the charity is exposed. These relate in the maln to Investment
management and have been ameliorated by the employrnent of an investmènt manager. Anc¢ther ri5kto
which the ch£ri(v Is exposed is fraud. However, the trustees considerthe low level of donations made bythe
Trust redu￿5 this risk. In addrfcion, at least one of the trustees will have some knowledge of any one to whom
a donatlon Is made.
Reserves
The trust generated a cash surplus of £20.27312D23- £10,408). the 5urplu5 15 mainly attributable to a larger
contribution from Crieff Highland Gathering.
At Ihe reporting date, the restrlrted thnes totalled £23.824I2023-£I6,￿OI and the unmstricted funds
£208.65512023- £169,6441- I hese fL'nds indude cash at bank, inve5tsnents and fixed assets.
The trustee5' policy is to disburse rr.ost of the net Incor￿ in donations each year and to utilise the free
reserves in any years of deficlL
The trustees are sat15fied that there ale sufficient reserves to meet thc roquirem.ent5 of the trust overthe next
twelve manths.
