The Egyptian Association supports the Egyptian community in Scotland for the public benefit by advancing social inclusion and community cohesion through the organisation of meetings and events, and by providing financial assistance to individuals who are in need by reason of hardship or distress.
Objectives: The objects of the Trust are in relation to those individuals who are Egyptian citizens by birth or related to any Egyptian citizen through marriage or otherwise: 1. To promote Islamic and/or Christian religion in the United Kingdom 2. To further education in the United Kingdom and/or Egypt 3. To relieve persons resident in the United Kingdom or Egypt who are in a condition of need, hardship or distress 4. To promote the United Kingdom andlor Egypt as the Trustees shall think fit including, but not limited to, the promotion of good race relations 5. To benefit in any way such other charitable object or objects in any part of the world as the Trustees shall in their absolute discretion think fit to support or establish
