The main aTea5 of activttv of Riverside Trust has becn the cr¢ation and mainienan¢e
of ChTiStian libraries. the support of young p￿pIe irt Chnsiian training. sUp￿rt of
kindergart¢ns in both urban and rurdl s¢ttings. 511PPOrt for a ¢hildren's cancer hospitsl,
and community development Ihrough sUp￿rt for small scale agriculiure. including
donations of ¢quipm¢nt and innovattons in processes such a5 the use of Imbjation,
improved seed, and pre-emergent weed control.
sUp￿rt for th¢ cstsblished church at1ri5,' in Cluj-NaJx)o Romania has continued.
The library ai Iris continues io be 5UPWrted. The work ￿'1th kindergarten5 and
hools has continued thioubFh links with the village kindergartens and schools in the
area around Bunesti and Miniiu. Cluj County. Th¢ trust provi(kd educational
r￿QUIc¢s. and traininbF foi the staff.

The Trust has c4)ntinued ils direct involvement in youth and children's work in the
Bapt15t church in Bunestt, a N'illabFe ill the Cluj re¥ion of Romania. Ex￿ndIture
necessary to sUp￿rt community development has continued. The work in whools in
the area around Bun¢5ti. Gherla and Mintiu has continued to expand in the last year.
The initial conthc¢ with ihe Children'￿ on¢ology hospitsl in Cluj in 2010-1 I develot*d
well over the subsequent years through links with ¢he hospital administrdtion and
clinical sthff. The cancer supwrt booklet continue5 to be distributed throubyh the
hospital and Ihiou¥h doctors, surgeries. and has been supplemented by a new b(xiklet
concerned with tamily readion5 and TesiK)nses to the loss of a ehild. The Trust
continu¢5 to m4intAin Itnks wth Some fwnilies who have reL%iva treatment in the
hospilal. and with the hospital s￿[r.
The lack of the chaimian's visits. which were not FA￿$5b]e during Covtd. requiied
increased engag¢m¢nt with Ii)cal workers to necessary refview of progress and
planning of future direciions tor the Trust in Bune5ti and surroundin¥ are4 the t8ncer
hospital. publishing. and to refTe5h links churches in Cluj City. In 2025-26. the
chaimian's regular ￿l5]IS to Romania have been for extended F¢riod5, visits to
Romania in summerlau￿rnn 2025 and wint¢r15pring 2026.

The trustees did noi receive any remwieration or ¢xp¢n5e5 durinuF the yeai in
r¢spe¢t of their role &s trustees. Some trusttts received refund of paymenis
made on behalf of the Trust in appropTiat¢ly furth¢ring its obje¢ts.
