**What the charity does:** Hearts & Minds exists to improve the emotional wellbeing of children in hospital, children with complex additional support needs, and adults living with dementia. Our charity does this through our two specialist programmes: Clowndoctors and Elderflowers.  Our trained practitioners use play, gentle humour and person-centred interaction to reduce stress, ease feelings of isolation and help people feel more connected and supported. Working closely with NHS staff and schools, we tailor each visit to the individual — meeting them where they are, responding to their cues, and creating moments of comfort, confidence and joy.  By bringing creativity and human connection into clinical and care environments, we help people cope better, build trust, and experience positive emotional shifts that can have lasting benefits for them, their families and the staff who care for them.
