To work with the community of Jura to improve the quality of life on the island and ensure that the people who call Jura home have a say in the island’s future. In consultation with the community we develop the Community Action Plan, and manage the community assets of the shop, the cafe and the moorings and pontoons.

Objectives: The company has been formed to benefit the community of the Isle of Jura which comprises the postcode unit PA60 (the Isle of Jura) with the following objects: (1) To provide in the interests of social welfare, facilities for recreation and other leisure time activity to the residents of Jura with a view to improving their conditions of life. (2) To advance education (3) To preserve, conserve, restore and improve the environment (4) To provide or assist in the provision of housing for persons on Jura in necessitous circumstances and / or housing adapted to meet special needs of persons suffering from mental or physical disability, illness or impairment or old age (5) To promote, establish, operate and / or support other schemes and projects of a charitable nature
