Recruitment and Appointment of Trusta88 The voting members of the board, which meets on a monthly basis, are the charity's twstees. Members of the board are elected at the Annual General Meeting and the board may appoint any member at any timè to serve on the commrtlee. Objectives and Activities Charitable purpose Our charitable wrpose. as set out in the constttution. is to promote the welfare of people in particular children and young adults, with a disability and in furtherence thereof.. To provide sporting and leisure opportunities for people. in particular children and young adults, with a disability. • To help individual club members develop confidence through participation in sports and leisure activrties in order to promote health and well being. To encourage individual club members to develop any particular sporting abilities which they may have, and to aid them in furthering their sporting potential. . To provide opportunities for club members to participate in a range of sporknng and leisure activities. and to encourage and support them to do so. Activities and achievements This year wè had our usual Iwo ￿Eekend trips to Badaguish in AvK8more, when we took groups of 3(HO people to take part in water sports at Loch Insh, archery and visits to Landmark. In July y￿ took 48 people to The Bendrtgg Trust in Kendal. Cumbria for a week long activty holiday that included activities such as caving, water sports, archery, indoor and outdoor climbing and various day trips to nearby sights. Throughout the year our Boccia group met regularty on Saturday momings and we sent teams to compete in a number of events across Scotland. Other events held dunng the year induded indoor and outdoor archery sessions. trips to Innoflate and Blair Drummond Safari Pa￿. and sessions such as roller skating, hula hooping and visits from Cool Creatures wrthin the Saturday club sessions. The penultimate event of the year was a visit to the Peter Pan Pantomime at the Kings Theatre in Glasgow where 50 Feople enjoyed a terrifK aftemoon's entertainment. Page 4

Charities Trust £1.000 and Cash for Kids £2,305 towards restricted funds. Unrestricted donations and fundraising of £10.773 MRre received during Ihe year and other income of £22,751. Reserves Policy 11 is the policy of the Trustees to maintain unrestn'cted funds at a level sufficient to cover six months of core activity expenditure. The trustees are confident that by continuing to apply to a range of funders during the coming year, they will be able to continue the current activities of the chanty into the next financial year. Basis of Accounting These accounts have been prepared on the Re￿iptS and Payments basis in accordance with the Charth'es and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005 and the Charities Accounts (Scotland) Regulations 2006 (as amended). 2. Fund Accounting Unrestricted funds are those available to use at Ihe discretion of the Trustees in fUtheran￿ of the general objectives of the charty and which have not been designated for other purposes. Restricted funds are those which are to be used in accordance with specific restrictions imposed by donors or which have been raised by the charty for particular purposes.
