**What the charity does:** The Society aims .to inform and educate its members and the wider public in environmental subjects, particularly those affecting the Stirling area, and relating to natural history, local history and archaeology. To these ends it organises lectures and visits, and encourages its members to take part in excavations, surveys and other activities leading to an increased knowledge of the local environment.
