	The charity is governed by the constitution and rules by the
	Royal British Legion Scotland and amended from time to time.
	Trustees nominate themselves for election at the Annual
	General Meeting which members of the public are invited to attend. Trustees all serve on the charity's committee which meets every two months, throughout the year. The offices of the charity President, Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, Secretary and Treasurer are elected at the first meeting after the AGM.

	The charity exists to facilitate Remembrance Fellowship and
	, support to ex service personnel and their families in the former Royal Burgh of Wick and surrounding area, and to provide for the local community to support current and former personnel.
	Remembrance: Each ear the charit oranises and holds the
	y y g annual service of Remembrance. The charity also supports Poppy Scotland(charity)raising funds for veterans and serving personnel. Fellowship: Each year the charity organises Annual Dinner for all members, various other social events throughout the year. Support: The charity holds varies fundraising activities.

Achievements and performance

Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the financial period

The charity continued to provide support to ex serving personnel and

their families. Remembrance; The charity organised the Annual week of Remembrance including the service of Remembrance at the war memorial, which attracts around 2000 members of the public and representatives from Hm Coastguards, Fire Service,, Reservists, Cadets, Scouts, Guides, High School and the local primary schools. Free Masons and any other youth organisations. The charity holds a small service of remembrance at Wick War Graves for ANZAC 25TH April 2025, we held a flag raising ceremony for Armed Forces Day. We support the Merchant Navy for their service of remembrance for Merchant Navy Day on 3rd September 2025. Fellowship :The charity organised the Annual Remembrance Dinner. We have also held a number of other social events. Support: The charity continues to support Poppy Scotland(charity)with their collection in local supermarkets, distribution of tins and poppies to local businesses. The charity continues to support the local charity Talking newspapers by giving access to them to use our meeting rooms. We continue to visit members of our Branch and their families who are ill in hospital or at home. We provide services to them such as letter writing, shopping , provide transport for them for appointments.

Other optional information

The charity entered The Royal British Legion Scotland Best Kept War Memorial Competition placing Third in our category. Our members have benefitted from Christmas distribution of Benevolence. Pension and Welfare this financial year seen some members seek help from our pensions and welfare officer. The Charity's chairperson and Treasurer attended in May 2025 Legion Scotland's conference which was held in The Royal British Legion Scotland Banchory, this was enjoyed by them and they came away with a lot of useful information to pass onto members. The charity continues to carry out various fundraising activities, one of our main activities is the first Saturday in August where we support the Local Mey Highland Games of which King Charles 111 is in attendance with some of our members getting invited to the Royal Tent to meet him.
