CATFLAP is an independent Glasgow-based charity dedicated to cat welfare with the following aims: To find suitable permanent homes for homeless cats To re-unite lost cats with their owners To provide short-term emergency accommodation for cats in need To assist with veterinary expenses in cases of genuine hardship To help achieve these aims, the Charity has several volunteer fosterers and a number of high-quality pens installed at the home of one of the trustees in Bearsden. Trained volunteers socialise and care for the cats until suitable permanent homes can be found for them.

Beneficiaries: 'No specific group, or for the benefit of the community'

Objectives: The objects of the organisation shall be the welfare of sick and neglected cats in the Glasgow area and the prevention of cruelty to cats by : 1. finding suitable permanent homes for homeless cats 2. reuniting lost cats with their owners 3. providing short-term emergency accommodation for cats in need (when possible) 4. assisting cat owners with veterinary expenses in cases of genuine hardship (when possible).
