The main focus of the Trust is the awarding of grants to relieve poverty in the Greater Pollok Area. Targeting the 2 main areas of education and the provision of recreation facilities in the area is the main focus of the Trust. The major success over the past few years was the awarding of a grant of £285,000 to Hillwood Community Trust for the construction of a sports pavilion for the use of the youth of the area. The above funding has allowed the various youth groups in the area to make extensive use of the adjoining football pitches, now that changing and shower facilities are available.
