Activities

'It carries out activities or services itself'

'the advancement of citizenship or community development','the provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended'

Our primary function is to run the village hall, making it available to the community for hire (either private or the provision of services). We also run events including concerts and monthly coffee mornings and other fund-raising activities to meet the financial expenditure requirements of the Hall

Objectives: To advance citizenship and community development by providing an all-inclusive and accessible hub which is affordable, safe and well-maintained, where individuals, groups and organisations from within and out-with the Kentallen and Duror communities may promote social interaction by hosting recreational and educational events at minimal cost and in a safe environment. To provide recreational facilities which will improve the condition of life and benefit the rural communities of Kentallen and Duror and the wider area, without distinction or prejudice, by associating the Community, Local, Regional and National authorities, voluntary organisations, charities and other bodies in a common effort to provide and maintain those facilities.
