It is open to the public to encourage access for all, thus promoting improved health and wellbeing of stakeholders. We also provide specific outdoor learning and recreation programmes for all abilities including those who are or have been more disadvanted in their life experiences. These include participation in nature restoration activities, creative projects and assorted mainenance tasks within the forest's 35 km path network and native woodlands. As well as social/recreational forestry , the management also includes some areas of commercial planting to ensure the financial sustainability of the community's social enterprise. This supports seven education, maintenance and administration staff.
