YMCA Glenrothes aim to promote the benefits of the inhabitants of Glenrothes and other areas of Fife. • Maintain and increase the range of opportunities for young people and adults to access employment and employability, training and learning. • Offer learning and development opportunities to people affected by poverty, especially the homeless. • Our premises are for the delivery of children, young people and adult capacity building initiatives. • Offer volunteering opportunities for governance e.g., Board membership of YMCA. • Maintain skilled expertise of governors. • Offer opportunities to small start-ups re room hire, meeting gathering • Continue to act as focal point and umbrella organisations for local community groups • Promote facilities at YMCA to individuals and groups • Be responsive to needs of local community • We will contribute to and take an active role in community planning initiatives. • We enhance our green space to improve our local environment

Objectives: 4 The company's objects are: 1. To promote the benefits of the inhabitants of Glenrothes and other areas of Fife, if required, and with National Council consent by the following aims and purposes:- (a) To offer men, women and young people, in their leisure and at other times, opportunities of various kinds, complementary to those of home, formal education and work, to discover and develop their personal resources of bodies, mind and spirit, and thus equip themselves to live the lives of mature, creative and responsible members of a free society. (b) To draw members into a world wide fellowship. (c) To provide opportunities through which members may come to an understanding of the Christian faith. (d) To work with, and accept without prejudice people from a non religious background. (e) To work with and accept without prejudice people from other faiths. (f) To work for all people, without prejudice, to ensure compliance, under the Equality Act 2010, with regard to those with protected characteristics under the Act.
