Objectives: To promote the benefit of the residents of the area designated wards nine and ten of the Renfrewshire Council area, hereinafter referred to as the Glenburn area, or such other reasonably equivalent area as may be determined by the directors from time to time, without distinction of sex, political, religious or other opinions by associating the local and statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and residents in a common effort to advance the education and to provide facilities, in the interests of social welfare, for recreation and other leisure time occupation, so that the conditions of life of the above mentioned residents may be improved.
