APPENDIX 1 Achievements and performance Summary of the maln achlevements of The Sections in 2024 Continue to grow being fi]11 to capacity, with tho charlty durlng the flnanclal perlod vltIng lists king held in all sections. A number of Beavers. Cubs and Scouts ¢ompl¢t¢d their top awards along with lots of badges being earncd and awarded. There were several camps / sleepovers offered to members. Group Camp in June was extremely wpul8r and was held in Templars Park with the theme Mission Impossible. A sleepover was held in November 2024 for Beavers and Cubs, based on a Suwhcrocs theme. Scouts also had an activity day at Deeside Activity Park in March and also had a Scout Camp at Templars. The Swuts also enjoyed a Christmas Sleepover for the last night of Scouts. Th¢ Scout Section's summer camp was at Auchengillan Outdoor Centre The Scouts all enjoyed their time away taking part in a rang¢ of activities from building catspults and rafts a canyoning adventure, paddl¢lx)arding and river lubing. Although w¢ are continually on the lookout for new leaders, our ex¢cutive con)mittee continues to be tighi for mcmbers with thc Chair and Tre&surer role being the only roles covered and the Icadership team supp)rting th¢ rest. Wc also hav¢ a steady amount of young people attending to complete their Duke of Edinburgh. This supports with wider ning of activities and games Looking forward to the year ahead we know the structure within Scouting is changing. We feel our Group will be well placed for this change to happen &s we are a small knit group of leaders able to support each other and sections out. We continue to have an eye on Squirrels and if this is an option for our Group. For 2025 we are planning an internation Scout trip to AStria and we are planning our usual activitics I badge work. Brief statement of the charlty's poll¢y on reserves Funding for the group comes from a number of sources. Annual fees are charged to the parents of the young peop and this funds the running of the sections. Addibonal fees are taken for s1C events- most notabty camps. The next source of inoTh Is from groups who hi the hall on a regular basis this Cufrenuy indudes an after school club. a karate club and an arnateur radKJ club.
