**What the charity does:** Eastgate Theatre & Arts Centre is a community-focused cultural charity that exists to inspire, engage and change lives through artistic experiences. We provide a welcoming, accessible venue in the heart of Peebles where people can experience high-quality professional work and take part in creative activity. We deliver this through a year-round programme of live performance, cinema, exhibitions and festivals, alongside participatory and outreach work including youth theatre, inclusive dance and music, creative learning, and wellbeing-focused programmes for people living with dementia, disability and long-term health conditions. By working in partnership with artists, schools and community organisations, we support local talent, bring high-quality work to the Scottish Borders, remove barriers to access, and embed creativity at the heart of community life.
