We provide focused activities and experiences in flying, gliding, sport, adventurous training, drill, cyber skills and the Duke of Edinburgh\u2019s Award Scheme. The cadet academic training programme is linked externally with the SQA.  We encourage a practical interest in aviation and the Royal Air Force but there is no obligation to join the Services. The skills that cadets gain can help them with whatever they want to do in life be it civilian or military. We seek to encourage the spirit of adventure and develop qualities of leadership and good citizenship. That includes being able to communicate clearly, work as a member of a team, enhance social skills and accept diversity. Training is provided by our suitably qualified subject matter specialists.
