The Charity is a Squadron of the RAF Air Cadets and is a uniformed youth organisation offering young people and adult volunteers opportunities for personal and professional development. The Charity arranges exciting activities like flying and gliding, space and cyber courses, sports and adventure training, as well as education and training opportunities for cadets to gain and improve key life skills such as confidence, teamwork and leadership. The Charity holds twice weekly parade evenings and, through its association with RAF Air Cadet squadrons at Wing, Regional and National level, is involved in running weekend activities and camps for its cadets.

Objectives: The purpose of the Squadron Association (‘the Association’) is to fully support the squadron commander to further the objects of the Air Training Corps (‘the ATC’) as contained in the Schedule to the Royal Warrant as amended from time to time but in particular to support activities which foster the spirit of adventure amongst the squadron’s cadets and develop their qualities of leadership and good citizenship.
