**What the charity does:** The Charity was set up to benefit the community of Eskdale achieved by providing funds to help local organisations and undertaking projects . Projects include developing the former police station in Langholm into affordable housing, owning Community Shop, maintaining the exterior of local public toilets, running Sports Centre and owning 8 properties ( 4 are classed as affordable housing and 4 are let according to certain criteria.  We are currently working with Dumfries &amp; Galloway Council to build a Changing Places Toilet facility in Langholm.

**Objectives:** The company has been formed to benefit the community of ESKDALE which comprises the postcode districts DG12, DG13 and DG14 (&#x27;the Community&#x27;) with the following objects:  (1) The advancement of community development (including the advancement of urban and rural regeneration) within the Community.  But only to the extent that the above purposes are consistent with furthering the achievement of sustainable development
