**What the charity does:** The Trust purposes are the creation of a Haematological Research Institute within The University of Leicester, said institute to be known as &#x27; The Ernest and Helen Scott Haematological Research institute&#x27; and one or more five year research fellowships in the fields of a) Molecular Haemopolesis including aplastic anaemia and b) Experimental Therapeutics including Stem cell transplantation.

**Objectives:** FIRST For the relief of poverty. SECOND For the advancement of education. THIRD For any other purpose beneficial to the community which , in law, is charitable. And we provide and declare that the Trustees shall have full and absolute power in their sole and uncontrolled discretion to  hold, pay and apply the Trust Estate, both capital and income for the foregoing purposes or any one or more of such purposes in such way and manner and in such amount or amounts and at such time or times as they may think fit.
