**What the charity does:** Our Charity is set up to promote Scottish Country Dancing in the Lochaber Area. We do this by running weekly classes that are open to any interested person from beginner to advanced. We have a teacher who is RSCDS trained and a core of experienced dancers who are able to assist where necessary.  Classes run from mid August to the end of April. These are advertied on notice boards, magasines and local radio. We run events such as a Christmas party and an annual Tea Dance. Dancers in and outwith the area are invited.  We also have an affiliated group nearby with whom we have a close relationship.

**Objectives:** (a) To preserve and further the practice of traditional Scottish Country Dances and modern dances of merit in the traditional style. (b) To provide or assist in providing instruction in the dancing of Scottish Country Dances. (c) To promote the enjoyment and appreciation of Scottish Country Dancing and music by any suitable means. (d) Generally to do such other things as are or may be considered by the Branch to further the aims of the Society.
