Robert Burns musical. In the last year the producers of musicals
are slill makin8 up for the difficuli peri￿ created by covid by
concentratin8 on established favouriles. However. that is looking to
chan8e and the trustees have agreed with two pr(¥Jucers to assist in
the fundin8 of pr(xluciions in the next 12 months Hopefully. one of
these pr(xluctions will be inviied io New York to t￿rfOrni before a
Bums loving audience.
Siccar point. The main focus of geology in Swtland has been the
celebration of the tercentenary of James Hutton. sometimes called
the father of ffl￿ern geology The trustees have continued to
encourage Scottish Geolo8y Trust in their bold venture along with
the Edinburgh geological S(Kiety to set up a deep Time Trail which
culminates at Siccar point. Funds were successfully raised for this
ambiti(￿ project and First Scottish was not called upon for
financial help. apart from an initial contributiofy to fund any
shortfall which it tacitly promised to the project.
Mansfield Plaee- Phoebe Trxquair murals. The trustee5 are in
communication with Mansfield Place trustees concerning
fundraising 5UPPOrt by means of making the church more
convenient for large audience concerts which will help fund
