At the last Financial Reviow, AGM and Awards we reported that has overhauled the 5VStems and processes to en5uie that we are rnore efficient and effective as 3rTr organisailon. We have now moved the organisation from analogue to digital. as we now are otErating In a 21" century manner, with our policies, procedures and processes digitised. Thig includes our operatlDnal and strategic work, as well as most recently, our digital banking processes. AI OLsr AGM last year, I spoke of an ambition and an 3ppetite for Change- specifically around an ambition lor equity and inclusion, and my unfaltering belief that participation in disability sport should not have financial barriers. We aimed for 25% of activities (Year 11, 50Yo of activities (Year 21 and lOO% activities Iyear 31 lo be fully funded so there was no cost to participants. l am delighted to inform you that we achieved IOOYO of this goal by the end of 2024, thanks to strong funding support from partner5. Specificalw, as Chair, I had the privilege of working alongside the Round Table, presenting an ambitious pitch for local support- this, combined with our Coordinator working with Secondary Schools on Youth Philanthropy Initiative IYPII, we are now offering activit5 in Clackmannanshire, Falkirk and Stirling free of tharg@. Financièlly, we were delighted when 6 months of hard work around an ambitlOU5 funding bid to National Lottery's Young Start fund paid off, as we were awarded £95.000- 100% of our requested funds. This has secured our coordinator position from 2024- 2027 and has allowed us to further enhance our organisation by appointing a Physical Artivity Officer from 2024- 2027 to deliver additionality, and critically, allow our coordinator strategic time to further develop our organisation. We have a new 3 year Branch Improvement Plan and Summary, with renewed vision, values and aims which will guide us through thc ncxt 12 months and beyond. We have exciting plan5 and an appetite for continued improvement. We must be the change we wish to see, and we musc continue to have Ihe young people and adults we are privileged to work with, at the heart of what we are aiming to achieve, at #TeamFVDS. we believe, we #INSPIRE and we look forward to continued partnership working. There will be challenges ahead- the financial climate remains challenging. there are 'issues' around the new Disclosure Processes and we, at the moment, have more arnbition than we can stafl .. but we will get there! Looking to 2025. we aim to have a refreshed constitution, a refreshed commillee structure and further enhance partnerships with Clackmannanshire, Falkirk and Stirling Councils, as well as our other partners.
