Wing Hong Elderly Group is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life and well-being of Chinese elderly in Glasgow. Creating a safe, welcoming space where individuals can connect, access essential services, and celebrate their heritage. We offer a range of culturally sensitive services, including Lunch Club, exercise classes, befriending schemes, and educational workshops, all aimed at reducing loneliness, promoting mental and physical health, and strengthening community ties. Through language support, advocacy, and interpreting assistance, we help members navigate essential services, such as healthcare, housing, and benefits. Working with local healthcare providers and community organisations, we ensure our members receive the comprehensive support they need to engage actively and confidently within the wider community. Our approach reduces isolation, fosters social inclusion, and strengthens community bonds while promoting pride in their cultural heritage.
