**What the charity does:** Kilbirnie and Glengarnock Community Association is set up to operate the running and administration of Bridgend Community Centre on behalf of North Ayrshire Council to provide a warm welcoming space for the local community to come to socialise, learn new skills and hobbies and all other activities that promote inclusion and good physical and mental well being.

**Objectives:** (a) To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of the neighbourhood without distinction, of sex or political, religious or other opinions by  associating the local authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants  in a common effort to advance education, and to provide facilities in the  interests of social welfare, for recreation and  for leisure time occupation  (b) To co-operate with the local statutory authority in the maintenance and management of a Community Centre where this exists for activities promoted by the Association in furtherance of the above objects  (c) To foster a community spirit for the achievement of these and other such objects as may by law be deemed to be charitable
