**What the charity does:** Our aim is to encourage an interest in the visual arts and in art making. We have a programme of talks and  workshops with invited artists sharing their expertise in a variety of techniques and media. We also organise informal painting/sketching days in the local area. We organise an annual Art Exhibition over 7 days in the Ballater Halls, open to all members.

**Objectives:** 2. The association's purpose and aims are to promote the development of the visual arts by:  (a) Encouraging interest in the arts. including printing and drawing  (b) Providing opportunities to practice and exhibit art
