**What the charity does:** The charity is set up to advance and promote the education of the general public, and in particular the inhabitants of the Parish of Abernethy, in the heritage, history, genealogy and culture of the locality, and achieves this by associating with voluntary organisations, local authorities and other bodies, together with the local community and those associated therewith, in a common effort to maintain, develop and promote a museum.

**Objectives:** The Objects of the Trust are to advance and promote the education of the general public, and in particular the inhabitants of the Parish of Abernethy, in the heritage, history, genealogy and culture of the locality, by associating with voluntary organisations, local authorities and other bodies, together with the local community and those associated therewith, in a common effort to maintain, develop and promote a museum.
