Objectives and activities
Charitable purposes
Summary of the main activities in relation to these objects
-
a) To proclaim the Gospel in order that all people might come to faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.
-
b) To establish believers in the Christian life and in service through constructive, consistent teaching of the Word of God.
-
c) To encourage attendance at, involvement in, and loyalty to a local bible-believing church.
-
d) To-serve the local bible-believing church. e) To maintain fellowship with all of a like-minded faith. f) To support the local community by giving care packages, emotional support, befriending in a non-discriminatory way.
-
Each week we have a very busy schedule sharing the Gospel of the Lotd Jesus Christ. e Once a month (third Saturday of the month): We have an adult evening fellowship meeting for both those involved at The Bible Centre and visitors too. This is a time of encouragement for all who come.
-
e 4times a week we collect leftover food from Greggs and give it out to people in need or those we feel led to give to. This includes local families as well as the homeless community.
-
e 4times a week we also collect leftover food from Aldi and give this out along with any food from Greggs that we receive.
-
e We give a minimum of 10% of our surplus per year to people in need within the local community. In general, these people have no association to The Bible Centre.
We have really enjoyed the opportunity to be able to serve the Lord within the community. Through receiving the leftover food from Greggs and Aldi, we have been able to make up a considerable number of food parcels each week and deliver them to various people who need the help practically and emotionally, through even a simple conversation on the doorstep.
It's been an incredibly busy year with the various Christian groups from around Britain and sometimes the world, using The Bible Centre for their retreats. The diversity of people that come is great and it’s especially encouraging when we have the recovery groups come, to see the change in people's lives as they learn about the difference that Jesus can make. The youth groups that come throughout the summer are alwaysa lot of fun too, although we only facilitate the groups, we still feel a part of their journeys!
Fellowship continues to be a real encouragement for those who come. It was also a great privilege to have our Christmas Fellowship Buffet again,, with around 60 people from the surrounding areas, some with faith and some with none, we were able to share God's love in a very practical way with a big buffet, short carol service and a brief message of hope. We have no paid employees, everything is done on a voluntary basis and have around 15 volunteers who give their time to help in many various ways, quite often in the background!

Achievements and performance
Summary of the main achievements of We have been able to continue to share God in a real and practical way in the charity during the financial period —_ the local community through food parcels and visitation. Around 100 people have benefitted from food donations on a weekly/fortnightly basis. Over the Christmas and New Year period, we were able to give out around £2000 worth of food donated by Aldi and Greggs to various families and homeless accommodations throughout the area. What is so encouraging is how many people wanted to be involved in delivering the food to the various families in the community.
Financial review Brief statement of the charity’s policy Reserves are held to offset fluctuations in ongoing running costs, and to on reserves meet unforeseen circumstances.
